WHAT BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE IS ALL ABOUT
To the right is a speech given by Kirk Cousins, senior quarterback at MSU, at the Big Ten's annual media day a few years back. It is a speech that I believe all student-athletes should hear in order to understand what being a true student-athlete is all about. It truly is a privilege that brings a special responsibility. It takes a lot for a Spartan to impress this diehard U of M fan, but this is a speech that I believe everyone needs to hear. I hope that you enjoy it and learn from it.
